Our client's vision centered around a site featuring a breathtaking lake view, a defining element they were eager to incorporate into the design. Their dream was to create a stately English mansion-style residence that harmonized seamlessly with the idyllic surroundings. However, this ambitious goal had to navigate the stringent regulations of the Floria region.
The site itself was a gem, boasting a picturesque lake that demanded attention. Our challenge was to seamlessly incorporate this natural wonder into the design.
DESIGN SOLUTION:
We approached the project with a deep commitment to realizing our client's dreams. Placing the house gracefully on the lake's edge became a design priority. We wanted every space within the home to be a canvas that framed and celebrated the serene lake views.
The common areas and bedroom balconies were strategically oriented to capture these breathtaking vistas, making each moment spent in the house a connection with nature's beauty. At the heart of it all, the backyard featured an infinity pool, carefully designed so that its edges seemingly merged with the vast lake, creating a striking illusion of an infinite aquatic horizon.
Throughout the project, we remained acutely aware of Floria's stringent regulations. We skillfully navigated these guidelines, ensuring that our design not only met them but also integrated seamlessly with the surrounding environment.
To achieve the desired ambiance of an old English country house, we meticulously selected a muted color palette, employed metal-framed windows, and designed a grand double-height entrance that exuded regal charm. These elements combined to create an atmosphere of timeless elegance.
